About Us The British School of Body Piercing started with a seed of an idea back in 1999. Our Founder, who was already working in the industry, realised there was a real need for Professional Body Piercing training and set about formulating a way to take out all the adhoc guesswork of Piercing. He knew an apprenticeship under an experienced Body Piercer was most probably the best route into the industry, but because good Piercers can be hard to find plus trying to secure an Apprenticeship was virtually impossible, the ideal thing would be to have a professional course as a lot of people would do if they wanted to learn to drive a car. After a great deal of research he devised a method of doing Body Piercing in a way that even people who had never performed Body Piercing before, could duplicate the system with a little practice and providing they continued to apply the same techniques would be highly accurate for all Piercings. Unfortuantely, over the last decade, there's been an explosion of people training others to do Body Piercing and the waters have certainly become muddied with so many inferior training courses, which generally have given Body Piercing courses a bad name. 70 per cent of all the people we train have been recommended to us by people already working within the industry such as by Tattooists and Piercers and now Hair and Beauty specialists.
